Job Summary:
Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Duties may include communicating with doctors and other Registered Nurses about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid their patients’ health and using medical equipment to monitor patients’ vital signs. Must be professional, have a friendly attitude and effective communication skills.
Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
- Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
- Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Administering non-intravenous medications.
- Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
- Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses.
- RNs need to be organized as they often care for a number of patients at the same time

- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in nursing.
- Pass the National Council Licensure Examination or NCLEX-RN.
- Current state licensure as a registered nurse and BLS certification required.

- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff.

Job Summary:
Personal Care Assistant must be compassionate and able to support clients living with physical, emotional, or cognitive impairments. Personal Care Assistant must prioritize the wellbeing of clients and demonstrate a caring approach.
Personal Care Assistant Responsibilities:
- Providing immobile, recovering, or frail clients with support, company, and comfort.
- Dispensing medications, administering treatments, and assisting with exercise routines as prescribed.
- Reporting changes in the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients to relevant parties.
- Providing support with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
- Engaging clients in suitable activities, such as playing games, taking walks, or having conversations.
- Performing basic housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and preparing meals.
- Assisting clients with household finances, bills, and payments, as well as running errands.
- Accompanying clients on outings and arranging transportation to medical appointments.
- Providing mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.
- Maintaining a hygienic, tidy, and safe environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- National Caregiver Certification Course (NCCC) preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in providing personal care.
- Available to work irregular hours, including night shift, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in administering prescribed medications and treatments.
- Extensive experience in assisting clients with mobility and personal hygiene.
- Ability to perform housekeeping tasks, prepare meals, pay household bills, and run errands.

Qualifications:
- Successfully complete a state-approved nurse’s aide training program
- Must understand English both written and spoken
- Must have current certification and registered with the locations state department of health
- Must be able to perform job related function safely and successfully, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law
- Care for multiple clients in a facility or home
